/ Easy to do. Each “Book your stay” button will open an email to cristina.arbelaez@fora.travel, with the hotel name already filled in. I’m updating the design page and the Squarespace code now. Istine — Travel Claude Design ·Only you Every “Book your stay” button now opens a new email to cristina.arbelaez@fora.travel, already filled in for that hotel. That’s all 13 buttons, including the Four Seasons option in Cartagena. For example, the Gordes button writes: Subject: Booking request: Airelles Gordes, La Bastide Hi Cristina, I would like to stay at Airelles Gordes, La Bastide in Gordes with you. Dates: Number of guests: Anything else I should know: Thank you! I added the blank lines for dates and guests so people send you what you need to quote. The buttons are now cherry red so they stand out. I updated both the design page and istine-travel-2027-squarespace.html: paste the new file into your code block in place of the old code. Other changes: Intro line: above the cities it now says “Book any of these hotels through me. As a Fora travel advisor, I can often add perks like breakfast, room upgrades and hotel credits.” Disclosure: it now says you’re a Fora travel advisor and earn a commission on hotel bookings, at no extra cost to the reader. Hotel website links: I removed them from the cards, so no one books direct and skips you. One thing to know: these buttons open the visitor’s email app. Someone who only uses Gmail in a browser, with no email app set up, may see nothing happen when they click. If you want a fallback, I can show “or email cristina.arbelaez@fora.travel” in small text under each button. Istine travel 2027 squarespace Code ·HTML Istine work index Document·MD  I also want to add pictures of the hotels or the cities in there Yes. I’ll set up the code so each card has one spot where you paste a photo link. If a card doesn’t have a photo yet, it shows its color block instead of a broken image. Each card in istine-travel-2027-squarespace.html now has a photo spot. All 12 photo links are listed together at the very top of the file, one line per city, so you never have to dig through the cards. Until you add a photo, that card shows its color block, so nothing looks broken while you collect pictures. I haven’t previewed the photo version in a browser, so check a card or two after you add your first links. Adding a photo in Squarespace Upload it. Squarespace’s code block can’t upload pictures, so make a hidden page (in the Not Linked section) and add an Image block with your photo. Copy its link. Open the live hidden page, right-click the photo and choose “Copy image address.” The link will start with images.squarespace-cdn.com. Paste it into the code. At the top of the code, find that city’s line and replace the word none with url("your link"): .ist-c-gordes{--photo:url("https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/…/gordes.jpg")} Save. Wide, landscape photos fit the cards best. Where to get photos you’re allowed to use Your own trip photos are the best choice, because they match “why I stayed” and belong only to you. Hotel press photos: as a Fora advisor, you can ask each hotel’s sales or PR contact for their media kit and permission to use the photos on your site. Many hotels have an image library just for this. City and landscape shots: Unsplash photos are free to use, including on commercial sites. They’re good for Gordes, Cartagena, the Douro and others until you have your own. Don’t copy photos from hotel websites or Instagram without permission. They’re copyrighted, and a takedown notice is a bad start for a new site. If you upload photos here, I’ll put them into the design page so you can see the full look before you build it in Squarespace. Istine travel 2027 squarespace Code ·HTML ok so give me the code for this for now This is the full code for your Travel page as it stands now. Until you add photos, each card shows its color block. Copy everything in the box and paste it into one Squarespace Code Block on your Travel page. Click Edit, then +, then Code, delete the sample code, set the block to HTML and turn Display Source off. html

Where to go in 2027

Twelve cities, each with three things to do and the estate hotel where I'd stay. Vineyards, olive groves, gardens and old stone.

By city

What to do, where to stay

Book any of these hotels through me. As a Fora travel advisor, I can often add perks like breakfast, room upgrades and hotel credits.

Provence, France

Gordes

Go in Jun–Jul

What I'd do

  • Sénanque Abbey when the lavender is out
  • Market mornings in the Luberon villages
  • A day trip to Estoublon for olive oil and rosé

Where I'd stay

Airelles Gordes, La Bastide

For the view: the whole Luberon valley from the terraces. It is Provence at its most romantic, and Estoublon is an easy day trip.

A 16th-century bastide on the edge of the village. Open spring to autumn.

Book your stay

Champagne, France

Reims & Épernay

Go in Sep

What I'd do

  • Biodynamic tasting at Leclerc Briant
  • Walk the Avenue de Champagne
  • Reims Cathedral at golden hour

Where I'd stay

Royal Champagne

Because waking up over the vines is the whole point of Champagne. Go at harvest, when the region smells of grapes.

Rooms that look straight over the vineyards.

Book your stay

Graves, France

Bordeaux

Go in Sep–Oct

What I'd do

  • Bike through the Smith Haut Lafitte vines
  • Dinner at La Grand’Vigne
  • A day in Saint-Émilion

Where I'd stay

Les Sources de Caudalie

The hotel sits inside a grand cru vineyard, so the wine is outside your window, not a drive away. The vinotherapy spa makes it a true reset.

20 minutes from the city, in the vines of Château Smith Haut Lafitte.

Book your stay

Tuscany, Italy

Montalcino

Go in Oct

What I'd do

  • Brunello at the estate winery
  • Cooking class in the kitchen garden
  • Truffle hunting with the dogs

Where I'd stay

Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco

It is a working estate: they make their own Brunello, grow the vegetables for the kitchen and teach you to cook with them. It feels like a home, not a hotel.

A 5,000-acre estate with a winery, cooking school and medieval borgo.

Book your stay

Portugal

Douro Valley

Go in Sep

What I'd do

  • A private boat on the Douro
  • Lunch at a port quinta
  • Two nights in Porto first

Where I'd stay

Six Senses Douro Valley

A manor house above the river, terraced vines in every direction and a spa that uses Douro grapes. The most peaceful way to see port country.

About 90 minutes from Porto.

Book your stay

Balearics, Spain

Mallorca

Go in Feb or May

What I'd do

  • Drive the Serra de Tramuntana
  • Lunch in Deià, then Valldemossa
  • Almond blossom in February

Where I'd stay

Castell Son Claret

A castle in the foothills, far from the beach crowds. This is the slow, green side of Mallorca.

A restored castle, quiet and green.

Book your stay

Quintana Roo, Mexico

Riviera Maya

Go in Dec–Apr

What I'd do

  • Boat through the mangrove canals
  • Swim in a cenote
  • Tulum ruins early, before the heat

Where I'd stay

Banyan Tree Mayakoba

Every villa has its own pool, set among lagoons and mangroves instead of a strip of beach hotels. Total privacy, and the sea by boat.

An all-villa resort near Playa del Carmen.

Book your stay

Colombia

Cartagena

Go in Dec–Apr

What I'd do

  • Walk the walled city at dusk
  • Murals and salsa in Getsemaní
  • A boat to Barú for the day

Where I'd stay

Casa San Agustín

To wake up inside the walls, in a 17th-century house with original frescoes. The beach club on Barú means you get the islands too.

Three restored colonial houses in the walled city.

Book your stay

Or stay at

Four Seasons Cartagena

The newest address in town: historic buildings restored in Getsemaní, the neighborhood with the most life, with rooftop pools looking over the walls.

Book your stay

Cusco, Peru

Sacred Valley

Go in May–Sep

What I'd do

  • The circular terraces at Moray
  • Pisac market, then lunch in the valley
  • The train to Machu Picchu

Where I'd stay

Sol y Luna

Casitas in gardens full of flowers, high in the valley. And your stay helps fund the school the founders run for local children.

A Relais & Châteaux house near Urubamba.

Book your stay

Argentina

Mendoza

Go in Mar

What I'd do

  • Tastings across the Uco Valley
  • Vendimia, the harvest festival
  • A long lunch under the Andes

Where I'd stay

Casa Vigil

It is a winemaker’s home, not a hotel brand. The long tasting menu under the Andes is reason enough to go.

A winemaker’s estate in Mendoza.

Book your stay

South Africa

Cape Winelands

Go in Feb–Mar

What I'd do

  • Garden tour before lunch
  • Tastings in Franschhoek
  • Two nights in Cape Town to finish

Where I'd stay

Babylonstoren

A working farm where the gardens feed the kitchen. The most beautiful example of the estate life I know.

A historic Cape Dutch farm with gardens you eat from.

Book your stay

California, USA

Napa

Go in Sep–Oct

What I'd do

  • Sparkling on the terrace at Domaine Carneros
  • Oxbow Public Market for lunch
  • Dinner at Bear, on the ranch

Where I'd stay

Stanly Ranch, Auberge

A historic ranch with its own vineyard and farm, between Napa and Sonoma, so you can taste both valleys from one place.

Cottages on a 712-acre ranch in Carneros.
